Impatiently waiting for the next call, little surprises bringing them closer, late night conservations, tears and smiles, these entire make read-till-finish book.Soft & Light hearted humour strewn throughout adds an entertainment quotient to the story. The writer tickles a funny bone as he talks about his paranoia when revealing his love affair to his parents. Tears roll down when an accident leave Khushi battering with death and Ravinder shattered. The writer has summed up the essence of his story in the most appealing terms. Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love. Some are born, just to experience the abbreviation of it.It has a tragic end, which explains the past tense of the title. The book neither has a meticulously crafted plot nor it is a literacy piece. Even then, the simplicity of the book and the honesty with which the author has written it makes us empathize with the author and it did struck a chord in our heart.
